Summary
The NIDHI Seed Support Program (SSP) stands as a distinguished initiative of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, designed to empower early-stage, technology-driven startups with critical financial support. The program aims to help innovators bridge the gap between lab-scale ideas and market-ready solutions.
Through this scheme, eligible startups can receive seed funding of up to ₹1 Crore to support activities such as prototype development, creation of minimum viable products (MVPs), market validation, and initial scaling efforts.
The program is executed nationwide via a network of Technology Business Incubators (TBIs), and ACIC VGU Foundation is honored to be one of the active implementation partners facilitating this initiative.
program Eligibility

The applicant must be a startup registered in India (preferably recognized by DPIIT).

The venture should be working on a technology-based or innovation-driven product or solution.

Greater preference shall be accorded to startups that have not benefited from government-backed seed funding in the past.

Ideally, the startup should be in its early revenue stage, demonstrating initial market traction.
